We use the word “will” with question words to ask about things in the future. Use these questions to ask about things that have not happened yet. We are asking about the future.

- What will you do?
- Where will it be?
- What will happen?
- How will you do it?
- How will she know?
- What will Bill do this weekend?
- Where will the meeting be held next year?
- Who will she go with if you cannot go?
- What will you do after you eat dinner?
- What will you do before you go back to school next month?
We need to use the verb “to be” when we are using a noun, adjective, or prepositional phrase. Sometimes, we can end the question with “be”.

We can also make questions using a noun after “what” or “which”. We can also use “kind of + noun” or “type of + noun”.
