Suzy: Have you been watching the news?

Stacey: No. What’s happening?

Suzy: Two men escaped from prison. The police are trying to capture them now. It’s all over TV.

Stacey: That’s crazy. Are they close to finding them?

Suzy: The police chief said that they are closing in on the escaped prisoners, and they expect to catch them today.

Stacey: I wonder if the police are actually closing in on them or if the police chief just said that to make everyone feel better.

Suzy: Do you think the police chief would lie about that?

Stacey: I think it’s possible.
