Speak with Angela

Klay: I don’t want to go to the party if Jon is going to be there.

Angela: Why do you hate Jon so much?

Klay: For one thing, he always comments and makes jokes about how I failed out of law school. He thinks it is just a joke, but it is kind of hurtful. Also, he is always so loud and talks about things that make me uncomfortable.

Angela: I understand where you are coming from. Maybe, you should talk to Jon and let him know how you feel.

Klay: Do you think that would work?

Angela: I do. Jon is not a bad person. He just doesn’t realize that his words and actions are affecting you in such a negative way.

Klay: Okay. I’ll give it a shot.
